Lifeguarding Classes

• ​Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis, with priority going to future York lifeguards.  

• Registration fee is due at the time of registration to secure your spot. Refunds are not issued if the student cannot pass the class.
• Must have at least 4 participants registered per session to continue, max per class is 12 participants.
• Student must attend all sessions of the class in its entirety in order to be eligible for certification.
• Student must be at least 15 years old by the last date of class or otherwise communicated.
• Student must pass the swimming prerequisites to continue with the class. 
• Students must pass ALL written and skills tests to be certified as a lifeguard.

Session 1 Lifeguard Class 
Sunday, February 2 | starting at 11:00am (Prerequisites – Swim 300 meters, tread water, dive for brick) 
Sunday, February 9 | starting at 8:00am

Lifeguard Recertification Class
Must be Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED Certified and not expired for more than 30 days.
